Plantation Drive Assembly

The school assembly dedicated to the Plantation Drive was held with great enthusiasm, aiming to spread awareness about the importance of trees in combating climate change. Students shared facts about deforestation and the need for afforestation. A short skit and poem emphasized the message of “Plant more trees, save our future.” Saplings were distributed and planted in the school premises, symbolizing the beginning of a greener journey. The Principal appreciated the students’ efforts and encouraged everyone to adopt eco-friendly practices in daily life.

Earth Day Assembly

GD Goenka School celebrated Earth Day through a thought-provoking assembly focusing on environmental awareness and responsibility. Students performed a powerful skit depicting the consequences of environmental neglect and presented speeches on sustainable living. The highlight was a pledge taken by students and teachers to reduce plastic usage, conserve water, and protect
nature. The celebration reinforced the message that every individual can be an agent of change for a better planet.

International Dance Day Assembly

To mark International Dance Day, the school assembly showcased the beauty of dance as an expression of joy, culture, and unity. Students performed classical, contemporary, and folk dances, demonstrating the rich diversity of Indian and global dance forms. A short talk was given on the origin and significance of the day, inspiring students to explore the art of dance not only for entertainment but also for physical and mental wellness. The assembly was vibrant, energetic, and full of life.

Labour Day Assembly

The Labour Day assembly was a heartfelt tribute to the hardworking support staff of the school. Students gave speeches and recited poems expressing gratitude toward the helpers who ensure the smooth functioning of the institution. A group of students also performed a skit highlighting the dignity of labour and the importance of respecting all professions. As a token of appreciation, students gifted handmade cards and flowers to the support staff, creating a moment of joy and respect.

Mother’s Day Assembly

The Mother’s Day assembly was a beautiful blend of emotions and expressions. Students shared  touching stories, poems, and heartfelt messages dedicated to their mothers. A short drama portrayed the selfless love and sacrifices made by mothers every day. The highlight of the event was a musical tribute where students sang songs celebrating motherhood. The assembly served as a reminder to always cherish and value the unconditional love of mothers.

Special House Assembly – Radhakrishnan House

The Radhakrishnan House conducted a vibrant and inspiring special assembly, highlighting the values of knowledge, leadership, and service inspired by Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The house presented a thematic skit, a motivational speech, and a group song promoting education and integrity. The anchor students confidently led the event, and the Principal appreciated the house for its creativity and teamwork. The assembly reflected the house motto and encouraged all students to strive for academic excellence and moral responsibility.
